Our Missions and Outreach Programs are the natural outgrowth of our journey to a new or deeper relationship with God. Our service is limited only by our imaginations and is tempered by our belief that we exist as a community, not only to be of service to those who attend here, but also to be of service to those who live outside our doors. Our vision of service extends beyond just the people of Cape Cod. We are committed to responding to the needs of our sisters and brothers throughout the world. We recognize that we cannot save the world, but we feel that with our every act of love and compassion, the world becomes a little better.
Our Vision in Action In recent years, our commitment to serve has resulted in support to human service agencies and shelters such as Independence House, Cape Cod Center for Women, Champ House, Pilot House, Noah Shelter, Salvation Army, and the Sandwich Food Pantry. We focus on funding and helping programs that provide for the basic needs of those who live in poverty, assistance for those who have been traumatized, and ministry for those who are developmentally challenged.
In addition to the above, Osterville United Methodist volunteers are active in several missions, and we encourage you to learn more about these programs and consider volunteering! Please click on each mission below to get more information.
